isabella's birthday at home

isabella is going to disneyland to celebrate her 3rd birthday. But we had a little cake cutting at home with just mommy daddy and Isabella.

Wow! I saw santa at the mall, when I went shopping with my mommy and daddy today. I wanted to go see him, we had to wait to see him as he had to take a break to go feed his reindeers. I told him about all the presents I want this year.

this was my first visit to a pumpkin patch, I don't know why we did'nt go before. We/I had lots of fun picking out pumpkins, playing in the cornbox, riding the pony and getting my face painted.

A visit to the Children's musuem

Last week my mommy and daddy took me to the kids musuem in san jose ca. They have alice in wonderland on exibit (not the disney version) it was ok. I had lots of fun exploring all the different areas there.

My first school field trip (Oakland Zoo)

My first field trip with my toddler class at Valley Montessori school. We all got there around 9:30 am and started our zoo adventure. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and camels we then took a snack break (I mean other kids did, I can live without food) at the children's zoo area and had fun climbing the cobweb and running around on the grass. After the snack break we went to the petting zoo, saw bats, pigs, a tortoise and several species of chimps.

We then went outside to go on some rides, I went on the choo choo train with my daddy and on the carousal with my mommy and this ride with different cars.

It was a pretty cool day with my classmates and teachers.

I went to disneyland again!!!

My mommy and daddy say this was my last trip to Disneyland for a while, now I can go for my birthday in November. This time around as usual we had tons of fun meeting the mickey and his pals, I was not able to have breakfast with the characters or the princesses because my mom didn't make reservation in time and they were all booked. We finally went on the nemo ride at Disneyland and saw playhouse Disney and the pixar parade at California adventure.

some of them a few times, mickey was not at his house but we caught up with him walking around main street and toontown, minnie's house as usual was my favorite hangout in toontown. I got to play in goofy's garden for quite some time as my mom was taking a break. All in all it was an awesome trip and ofcourse I did get to buy more toys there and lots of fun stuff.

I wish I can go to disneyland everyday......

our first trip to the beach for this year. The weather was perfect not too cold Isabella had lots of fun, I think we will go back again next week....

Round two!

Round two!

This time around the ride to disnyland was a little better. We had breakfast with the princesses this time, at california adventure @ Ariel's Grotto food was awesome as you enter you go down the a staircase and first meet Ariel (she is the only princess that does not come to your table coz she's still a bit wobbly on her new legs) you take pictures with Ariel then they take you to your table where an elegant all american breakfast awaits you. Each princess's enterance is announced and they go visit each table to greet little princesses and princes, they sign autographs and take pics. A very cool and elegant experience Isabella had lots of fun....
Disneyland was the same routine chasing characters we got to meet Donald this time, we missed him last time. Isabella was more interested in having conversation with the characters this time around rather then just posing for pics. All in all a great trip as usual, except it was very crowded and that was not fun...

Isabella's first day at school

I can not believe it our little baby is ready to go to school! Isabella started Valley Montessori on April 3rd 2008. I took the day off from work coz I had to be there, we had been preparing her for days before. I had bought her a new outfit and shoes for the big day and she seemed excited, we got there handed in the last set of paper work and then the admissions director took us to Isabella's class. It was so cute all these little kids coming in I went inside the class with her and stayed for about 2 minutes I then said bye to her and took off. We sat in the lobby for the first 30 minutes and then had the office staff check on her. We were informed that she was doing fine so we left but returned early to pick her up. She was delighted to see us and fell asleep in the car. Although when she woke-up from her nap she seemed a bit upset at us.

The funniest thing happened the second week of school Ocran went to drop her off at school, we stayed with her for 5 minutes and then left. After she realized he was gone she got upset and the teacher explained to her that he will be back he went to run some errands. Isabella told the teacher that why did he leave her she wanted to go to the store with him as well. Anyways, when Ocran went to go pick her up she was happy to see him, but when they got to the car she got really upset and yelled at him the whole way home. Saying, you left me there bcoz you don't love me and you left me at nano's house the other day to go and get a hair cut (he left her couple of weeks earlier at my moms to go get a hair cut) and that she was really mad at him. He as astonished that she was capable of remembering things and was already at 28months fighting and arguing with him. When he came home and told me I was amazed as well she is something else. She is doing good at school and yesterday when we went to go pick her she told her teacher she was not ready to go.

Breakfast w/Easter Bunny at Nordstrom

My mommy and daddy took me to have breakfast with the easter bunny at nordstrom in pleasanton. We got there at around 8 am, we were seated and started with some drink apple juice for me and mommy and daddy had coffee. Then we were served breakfast (french toast, bacon and fruit) it was pretty good. I had just started tasting my food (I still don't eat just taste food) when I saw the bunny entering the cafe. He was visiting all the kids table by table, I was so excited but waited patiently for my turn like a good girl. And finally it was my turn mommy took some pics (daddy for got to charge the battery for the nikon so mommy had to take pics with the little camera)it did the job. After we got done eating there was an easter egg hunt, children shoes was the egg hunting venue for kids two and under. I had fun finding eggs inside shoes, and I got a ton of eggs. Then they had an area set-up to take pics with bunny and he was handing out more eggs, next to that was another area where kids could make crafts and get stickers and stamps on faces and hands. All in all it was a pretty cool adventure and ofcourse we went shopping after that.....
